Alberdingk Boley received the internationally recognised ISCC Plus certificate for dispersion production in Krefeld and Kerpen from July 2024. The certification is based on the mass balance approach (BMB), which ensures that sustainable raw materials are used and that the supply chain is traceable.
The advantage of the BMB process is that the product properties are consistent without any restrictions in terms of legal requirements, such as food contact.
Our Chief Sustainability Officer, Dr B. Souharce, comments: "It is part of our sustainability strategy to move away from fossil raw materials. In doing so, we are also supporting the use of alternative raw materials and the reduction of CO2 emissions along the value chain."
